In 1984, an HR professional decided that he was tired of using complicated and inadequate HR systems to manage his workforce. He knew there had to be a better way to do things and founded SPECTRUM Human Resource Systems Corporation. Spectrum introduced its first HRIS in 1985 and over the past 26 years has continued to create innovative and intuitive HR software for human resource professionals, setting a high standard for HR systems across the board.

In December 2010, Spectrum was acquired by Epicor Software Corporation, beginning a new chapter in Spectrum's history. Now named Epicor HCM, we have greater opportunities to deliver an HR system that manages your workforce from recruitment through retirement while providing even greater support and service. While our name has changed, our commitment to providing a best-in-class HRIS has not.
