Marketing Representative

Duties:

Aggressively prospects for qualified leads by making cold and warm calls using marketing databases and any other sources provided by SPECTRUM. Pass appropriate quanitity of leads sufficient to assist account managers in meeting or exceeding their assigned demo and sales quota. Gain and exhibit a thorough understanding of SPECTRUM's products and markets. Maintain the integrity of marketing databases by accurately updating all relevant record fields after each contact attempt and adding notes pertinent to each call. Maintain ongoing contact with all active clients to ensure accuracy of contact data and to promote additional product interest. Work closely with account managers to constantly monitor and assure timeliness and diligence of all sales process steps for all active leads. Work diligently to provide account managers with additional appointments when traveling to remote locations. Attend industry trade shows, as required. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Some prior experience with outbound and inbound telephone sales and inquiries as well as lead generation and/or sales support required. Bachelors degree desired, however relevant work experience may be substituted for a degree. Should have an outgoing and assertive personality with excellent communication skills and an ability to work successfully in a team-oriented environment. Must be very detail-oriented and have the ability to balance a multitude of projects and deadlines. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and relational databases is a plus. Must be able to operate various office equipment including personal computer, copiers, and fax machines. Filing duties require digital dexterity and the ability to reach and grasp. Must be able to lift 10-15 lbs. occasionally.

Development Programmer/Analyst

Duties:

  • Applies software system design, analysis and programming techniques to the development and maintenance of software systems.
  • Performs analysis and programming tasks including the coding, testing, and debugging of new software and maintenance, modification, and enhancement of existing software.
  • Applies software systems design, analysis and programming techniques to the development and maintenance of software systems.
  • Investigates and recommends the incorporation of new technologies into our software products.
  • Liasons with Professional Services staff and with Product Support staff to assure a clear understanding of the user needs and to regularly review and discuss the effectiveness of the proposed solution.
  • Prepares system level documentation for all programming performed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other directly related and technically comparable academic area.
  • 1-3 years professional development programming experience strongly desired.
  • Proficient knowledge of at least one high-level programming language as well as familiarity with a second high-level programming language.
  • Familiar with agile development, especially Scrum

Professional Services Developer in Colorado

Duties:

In this position, you will use your functional and technical expertise, along with the latest technology and tools, to support implementations of Spectrum’s web-operational HRIS software application. You will work with our clients and Professional Services Consultants to determine business requirements, write technical specifications, assist with proposals and estimates, perform software modifications and complex system configurations, perform electronic data conversions, and demonstrate your testing and documentation proficiency to provide a successful implementation experience. You will be responsible for client and internal communication, individual project scheduling, creating high quality deliverables, and ensuring project deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years experience with .NET, C#, and MS SQL Server, have a background in business application software development or have 2+ years prior experience in development or maintenance of software applications. Technical experience developing or implementing SPECTRUM, ADP, Ceridian, Ultimate, Kronos, Nu View, Lawson, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, JDEdwards, and/or any other HRIS package a plus.

Must possess outstanding oral and written communication skills, have the ability to manage multiple projects, and be able to shift with changing priorities. Experience with three-tier architecture, MS SQL Server, C#, ASP.NET, Reporting Services, ASP, JScript, and Visual Basic desired. Should be self motivated and be able to work effectively on independent or team projects. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Must be willing to travel 10-15%.

Product Support & Education Representative

Duties:

Individuals in this position will learn and understand how specific products operate and function and apply their knowledge in providing support to SPECTRUM clients. Under direct supervision, representatives will define and/or resolve routine to moderately complex customer problems with designated product line(s) through telephone discussions and written correspondence. Simulates or recreates customer problems to resolve user operating difficulties. Discusses problems and inquiries with other more experienced departmental personnel in order to provide technical assistance to clients. Communicates customer suggestions for enhancements or identified software anomalies. Documents problems and corrective procedures. Works with development personnel to determine appropriate problem resolution. Upon achieving necessary level of competency, conducts classroom and on-site training, utilizing predetermined curriculum for basic level classes. Depending on product, may perform product testing.

Qualifications:

This position requires a bachelor's degree. Some business experience, preferably in Human Resources, Payroll, programming or technical assistance is desirable. Consideration may be given to relevant professional level experience as an offset to the formal education requirement. Must have appropriate technical skills, which could include but are not limited to, knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, and report building. Excellent problem solving and database diagnostic skills are required. Must have excellent listening skills and speak clearly and concisely and be easily understood. Must be service oriented. Must be able to teach effectively in a variety of training room settings. Must be able to travel and be able to carry light computer equipment, and in some training instances, assist with room set-up. Must have good writing and spelling skills with the ability to document technical issues in a clear and effective manner with appropriate detail.

Duties:

You will work directly with our clients and utilize your analytical skills, technical expertise, and system functional knowledge to develop procedural and technical solutions for their business needs.

In this position, you will use your functional and technical expertise, along with the latest technology and tools, to support implementations of Spectrum's web-operational HRIS software application. You will work with our clients to determine business requirements, define specifications, develop proposals, perform moderate software modifications and system configurations, perform electronic data mapping and data conversions, and demonstrate your testing and documentation proficiency to provide a successful implementation experience. You will be responsible for client communication, support status calls, and ensuring project deadlines are met.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate may possess a background in Human Resources or Project Management, or have several years prior experience implementing HR Information Systems in a vendor or consultant capacity. Experience implementing SPECTRUM, ADP, Ceridian, Ultimate, Best, Kronos, Nu View, Lawson, PeopleSoft, JDEdwards, and/or any other HRIS package highly desired.

Must possess outstanding oral and written communication skills, have the ability to manage multiple projects, and be able to shift with changing priorities. Experience with MS SQL Server desired.
